Salina completed her Animal Health Technology Diploma in 2008. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Science Degree and further went on to become a Doctor of Animal Naturopathy. She has worked in pet stores, veterinary clinics, emergency veterinary hospitals as well as the Meow Foundation cat shelter for many years.
Shortly after getting married in August 2011, Salina came across a Young Living booth at a wellness festival where she saw a sign that said “Support Your Vision”. It resonated with her because growing up she has battled with poor eyesight, glaucoma, surgery due to retinal holes, and severe corneal stress. After 3 months of using the product and building the business, she saw the many benefits this company had to offer. At that point Salina decided to retire from her job and dive into Young Living full time.
With her background in animals she published a number of tools to help people with the basics of learning how to use essential oils on animals. Her Book No Vet For My Pet, recipe book, sharing pamphlets and a first aid tear pad have helped many people world wide. Young Living sent her on a 10 city tour in Japan to speak on the safety of using essential oils on animals. She has also spoken in Hong Kong and at the Young Living International Grand Convention in Utah.
In recent years, Salina has been working from home while raising her 2 daughters. She continues to dedicate much of her time to helping both people and animals and providing that education on how to become financially free and how to live a more toxin and chemical free life while not giving up precious time with family.
Salina’s favourite oil is Thieves Essential Oil. Given all the germs everywhere, she uses Thieves in the diffuser and on the bottoms of her family’s feet before leaving the house and before bedtime. She would love to hear what your favourites are and why? Connect with Salina via the contact tab.
